This is a great mouse for the price! My main mouse WAS a G305 Logitech. That‘s right, WAS! The G305 is good budget mouse but in heavy gaming for my hand started causing cramps. I needed something bigger and LIGHTER and around the same PRICE.
I learned about this mouse watching tons of YT video, and im glad I did because i had my eye on the new Logitech ProX which is about 4x more expensive than this one .im glad i did and turn my decisions to stay more on my usual budget for a mouse.
The g305 is 1k max with no additional settings, vs this one which is upto 8k grant that you have proper PC set up to actual test it.
When the package arrived I was surprised how nice the package was vs my previous mouse. The experience was like unboxing a more expensive one.

I had no problem with the software. The pulling rate works s advertised, however I can't test 8k , because you need a fast monitor and I only have a 165hz at the momment. This has alot of features and customizations.

These big tech companies need to watch out haha.

I wish there was more color for this model, I would not mind having a couple of these in different colors!

The Rapoo VT7 is a great mouse alternative to the mice that has a similar shape and size to.
If you didn‘t already know, the VT7 is Rapoo's response to the countless Viper V3 Pro/Hyperspeed clones out there and I think is a good competitor among them.

I will say, despite this mouse being an ambidextrous mouse, it does have a bit of curve that is present only on the left side of the mouse which I didn't prefer, but didn't take away from the abilty to play with it.

When it comes to the overall build quailty of the mouse, there was a slight amount of creaking to the mouse, which didn't make the mouse feel flimsy at all as some mice that I've tried also have had some minor creaking despite being more expensive. The left and right mouse clicks on this mouse felt very solid with some mild play that I also found other mice had and little-to-no pre and post-travel. When it came to the side buttons, the side buttons were just as good, if not better than the main button clicks. When it comes to the coating, the regular, non-MAX version didn't come with a coating and was just the matte plastic finish that the mouse came out with. Despite lacking a coating, I had no problems gripping the mouse without the included grip tape, whether my hands were dry or sweaty.

When it comes to the specs of this mouse, the mouse is up to par with most standard mice out there nowadays. Starting with the weight, this mouse touts a weight of 53 grams, but my copy came in at a weight of 60 grams. The balancing of this mouse is pretty standard with the battery being placed in the back of the mouse, making the mouse feel similar to other mice that were confirmed a few grams lighter. When it comes to the senosr, the VT7 comes with the Pixart PAW3398, which is a slightly modifed version of the popular Pixart PAW3395. With the inplementation of the 3398, I did not have any problems and felt in line with other mice that I have tried. When it comes to the right and left clicks of the mouse, they use their own in-house 100 million rated mechanical switches that I found felt really light and sounded good, finding it very easy to spam and press them when needed. When it comes to the software, the software was some of the best mouse software that was smooth and had no issues with it. The software includes all the features you would need for a gaming mouse nowadays and I had no problem understanding everything as the software was completely done in perfect English.

When it comes to the accessories in the box, it came with a braided 8K polling rate cable and dongle, wireless 2.4Ghz receiver, replacement mouse full-size mouse skates (no smaller skates or dot skates), grip tape for the mouse, and your instructions and warranty.

Overall, I found this mouse to be quite good for the price in comparison to it's competitors, especially due to it's availability to be bought on Amazon.

I‘m 60, and while I might not be a competitive gamer anymore, I still enjoy a good FPS or strategy game. I got this Rapoo VT7 mouse because I’ve been looking for a wireless option that doesn't die on me every other day, and this thing has been a revelation. I'm giving it five stars because for the price, the sheer performance and battery life are unbeatable.What I really like is the battery life. They claim up to 750 hours, and while I’m not running it at that 8K polling rate all the time, this mouse just keeps going. I’m talking weeks, maybe a month, before I even think about plugging it in. That huge battery coupled with the lightweight 53g design is something the big-name brands haven't figured out yet. It feels fantastic in my hand—it’s quick and responsive without feeling cheap or flimsy. The ten programmable buttons are useful for setting up a few macros, which is perfect for managing complicated commands in a game or even just navigating my computer faster.
The only thing I don't love is the texture or coating on the mouse. If my hand gets a little warm, it picks up oil and fingerprints pretty fast. It doesn't affect performance, but I find myself wiping it down more than I'd prefer. Also, the software can be a bit clunky to navigate when you first try to set up the buttons, but once you get it figured out, the settings stick. Considering the low price tag compared to the top-tier, name-brand mice that offer the same specs, the Rapoo VT7 is a ridiculous value. It’s got the specs of a mouse twice its price, and that’s why it gets the top rating from me.
